This home is located in northern Accomack County and is one of Virginia's finest examples of Georgian architecture. It stands on a knoll overlooking Chincoteague Bay It was built in 1725 and contains many fine examples of exquisite interior features. It was so well built that little restoration has been needed. (Editors note - This building was destroyed by fire in the late 1990's)
