Dr. Brooks Miles Barnes will lead a discussion of the books at each session. Dr. Barnes has a Ph.D. in history from the University of Virginia. He is the author of several books and of an essay in the recent pamphlet, Civil War on Virginia's Eastern Shore, a publication funded by the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities for the Eastern Shore Museums Network.
The group is limited to 25 participants. The books for the series are available to registered participants at the front desk of the Main Library in Accomac. The books must be returned to the library at the end of the series. For details or to register, please call (757) 787-3400.
